Mumbai to Mahua Bagh is 135 kms. It is 10 kms short of Murud. 
 
Air 
The nearest airport is Mumbai. 
 
Rail 
Nearest railway station Roha is 122 km from Mumbai and 35 kms from Mahua Bagh. 
 
Sea
A convenient way to reach Mahua Bagh is by ferry from Gateway to Mandwa/Alibagh.
From Alibagh to Mahua Bagh is about 45kms and takes about an hour by road. 
The Taxi charges are about Rs 1800/- one way. We could also help organize taxis. (The ferry services are suspended during the monsoons) 
 
Road 
The drive from Mumbai to Mahua Bagh takes over 3 hours (early morning recommended).
You have to drive up to Panvel and then take the road that passes through the Karnala Bird Sanctuary onto Pen. 
You cross Alibag (100 kms.from Mumbai) and drive along the beautiful Kashid beach till you reach Nandgaon. 
Carry on towards Murud. After crossing Mazgaon village you will arrive at Mohra bus stop, from where you take a right-right turn onto a country road which is about a km and takes you straight to Mahua bagh.

You can also go to Mahua Bagh/Murud via Roha, a small town dotted heavily with large and shady trees. This route is 10 kms. longer, but you will pass through beautiful country side and will drive along and past the main entry for the Phansad Sanctuary. You then reach Mazgaon and follow the same directions as above..
